By Staff Writer InterGame publisher Christine Butterworth has explained the rationale behind the launch of the new InterGame Expo, to be held from January 27-29, 2009, at the Ibis Earls Court Hotel, London, UK."When the economic climate gets tough, it's time to look for new innovative ways to do business," commented Butterworth in a report published in the August issue of InterGame. "That's why at InterGame we are pioneering a back-to-basics Expo which will bring together suppliers and buyers at a price which matches today's economic climate."
"We believe that those people who are in this business for the long term know the time is right to revisit their exhibition budgets. Many companies believe that blowing away mega-bucks on a three-day showpiece for their regular customers is no longer realistic.
"But in the past they may have been terrified of NOT exhibiting at an established show in case it sends out the wrong message to the industry. So, at InterGame we are proposing change and have launched an easy, workable forum where companies can show their products to an international audience without the burden of massive costs.
"The InterGame Expo will be a specialist show for the coin machine industry. It will be held in the comfortable, friendly environment of the Ibis Hotel, near Earls Court, London, from January 27-29, 2009.
"Loading and unloading is very easy, straight into the exhibition hall on one level. And most importantly the InterGame Expo team will be there to ensure that the whole three-day experience is pleasant, stress free and provides value for money.
"Finally, but crucially, we can draw on the industry's greatest database to attract visitors to the show. InterGame magazine is the undisputed leader in the international coin machine business and is read monthly by industry leaders who include operators, suppliers and legislators.
Additionally, InterGame International's newsletter is circulated to several thousand key personnel twice a week and the newly revamped website www.intergameonline.com is a daily source of industry data.
The InterGame Expo will therefore provide both the visitors and the forum for a great, new revolutionary event at a price which reflects today's volatile economic climate. We hope you will join us.
